Washington Park
Includes the edge of Forest Park, the largest forested municipal park in
the nation with over 5,000 acres of hiking, mountain biking and running trails,
the Oregon Zoo, the Portland Rose Garden and Japanese Garden.
Willamette Valley Wine
Country
Travel to several dozen tasting rooms featuring Pinot Chardonnay,
Pinot Gris, Riesling, Gewurztr Pinot Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and many
others. Local wineries include Oak Knoll, Rex Hill, Eola Hills and Willamette
Valley Vineyards.
Columbia Gorge
The famous river canyon cuts through the volcanic rock of the Cascade
Mountains. Hike spectacular waterfalls including Multnomah Falls or drive the
Historic Columbia River Highway. The Columbia Gorge is also home to the town of
Hood River, a popular attraction for wind surfers.
Oregon Coast
From art-center towns, such as Cannon Beach, to wide open beaches in
Seaside and historic Astoria at the mouth of
the Columbia River, the northern coast offers whale watching, shopping, fishing
and crabbing.
Mt. Hood/Timberline Lodge
Oregon’s signature peak and historic lodge offer a variety of
recreational opportunities from cross-country and downhill skiing to hiking and
camping.
Mt. St. Helens
Drive 2 hours into Washington and visit the last
volcano that erupted in the United States. During certain times of the
year, you can spend the day climbing to the crater, giving way to views of Mt.
Hood, Mt. Rainier, Mt. Adams, Mt. Jefferson, Mt. Bachelor, The Three Sisters and
Mt. Baker.

The Portland Art Museum is over 100 years old and features a collection
of European and American art, plus 4 Asian art galleries. The Oregon Museum of
Science and Industry (OSMI) has 6 exhibit halls and 7 science labs which bring
science to life with hundreds of interactive exhibits and hands-on
demonstrations.
